At Steven’s Bootcamp Dog Training, our foundation is built on discipline, dedication, and a deep respect for the human-canine bond. These core values were instilled in our founder, Steven, during his sixteen years of military service and continue to guide every aspect of our training philosophy.
Steven is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and an American Kennel Club (AKC) Certified Evaluator. With over 300 dogs successfully trained throughout his career, he brings both expertise and empathy to every session. Recognizing the need for effective, compassionate training that doesn’t carry a corporate price tag, Steven set out on a personal mission: to empower dog owners with the skills and confidence to build lasting, meaningful relationships with their pets.

Free Consultations – Unlike many corporate training facilities that charge for in-home consultations, or worse, rely solely on phone assessments, we believe in seeing the behavior where it happens. That’s why we offer complimentary in-home consultations. We come to you, observe your dog in their natural environment, and provide honest, informed feedback, at no cost or commitment.
Honesty – We are committed to professional transparency. If your training goals don’t align with our methods or philosophy, we’ll respectfully refer you to a trainer who may be a better fit. Our priority is ensuring you and your dog receive the support that best meets your needs.
Competitive Pricing – We’ve done the research, made the calls, and compared the packages. Our pricing is intentionally structured to offer more value than many corporate competitors. We encourage you to explore other options—then come back and see how much more we provide for less.
Tailored Training Programs – We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every dog is unique, and so is every training plan we create. Our sessions are customized to your dog’s temperament, behavior, and learning style, ensuring the most effective and humane outcomes.

That’s why we offer training options both with and without the use of e-collars, and we’re always open to discussing the pros and cons of each method. In-Home and Bootcamp Options – Whether you prefer hands-on involvement or need a more immersive experience, we offer flexible training formats to suit your lifestyle. Choose from personalized in-home sessions or our results-driven Bootcamp program.
Ongoing Support and Group Classes – Training doesn’t end when the sessions do. Every package includes six months of complimentary group classes to reinforce skills and build community. We’re available throughout your journey—by text, email, phone, or in person before or after class. Your success is our commitment.

- Personal owner of 3 dogs: Nola, Obi, and Wizmer.
- CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed).
- American Kennel Club Evaluator administering: Canine Good Citizen, S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, AKC Community Canine, Urban Canine Good Citizen, Video Home Manners, and Trick Dog tests.
- Trained over 300 dogs within his professional dog training career.
- Served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and 8 years in the United States Army.
Brittany Amado
Office Manager
- Oversees all social media content creation, scheduling, and community engagement. Responds to client inquiries, monitors trends, and ensures brand messaging remains consistent.
- Designs and executes advertising campaigns that reflect the brand’s values and philosophies. Plans and manages company events and client outreach.
- Manages trainer availability and session logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery. Coordinates calendars, confirms appointments, and adapts schedules to meet client needs.
- Oversees client agreements, service terms, and legal documentation to ensure clarity and compliance. Maintains organized records, updates contract templates, and supports smooth onboarding for new clients and partnerships.
Alivia Taylor
Trainer
- Graduated Franklin Central High School as an Honor Student.
- Personal owner of one dog named Lucas.
- Currently studying for CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed) Certification.
- Supervises the Puppy Training Program and the Balanced Positive Reinforcement Programs
- Assists in documenting dog training philosophy and methodology.
